Hi, I'm Lori and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my little corner of the internet! As a passionate traveler in my late 40s, I've always been fascinated by the beauty of different cultures and the exquisite fabrics that adorn them.

It all started with a simple suggestion from my friend Carol - find a hobby that brings you joy. I took her advice and found my way to woodworking. My husband couldn't believe his eyes when he came home to find a brand new workbench I had built! With his support and encouragement, I was hooked on creating things with my own two hands.

But then, an injury forced me to put down the power tools and pick up a sewing machine. I wasn't sure what to expect, but as I started to work with fabrics, I realized I had found my true passion. Through my travels, I discovered unique fabrics from all over the world - bark cloth from Hawaii, stunning cotton fabrics from Japan, and beautiful linen from Belgium and France. I knew I had to share these treasures with others who appreciated the beauty of handmade and sustainable items.

At the core of my brand is a belief in supporting small businesses and the slow fashion movement. I want my products to have purpose and to make a positive impact on the environment. And I'm always eager to hear feedback from my customers so that I can continue to evolve and create more of what they love.
